Project Overview:
Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia runby Woodside Energy. Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum. As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day. Woodside Energy has selected Bechtel to deliver the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning scope of work for Pluto Train 2. Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source.
Job Summary:
Bechtel is seeking an HSE Administrator to join the Pluto Train 2 working from the Karratha site located in Western Australia. This position will support day-to-day administrative tasks with the HSE Department.
Major Responsibilities:
- Attend pre-start and toolbox meetings and compile and distribute minutes and supply required documentations
- Prepares and submits reports required by project, corporate and legislative authorities
- Prepares reports required for the analysis and determination of both leading and lagging trends
- Prepares confidential and sensitive reports
- Maintains confidentiality of records as needed
- Acts as the project administrator of corporate HSE software programs
- Trains HSE team members in the use of corporate HSE software programs
- Identifies improvements to reporting processes
- Openly communicates with the Project HSE Manager on administrative matters
- Participates in HSE meetings to identify and action administrative requirements
- Assists with the coordination and the development of HSE work planning and training materials
- Coordinates meetings, arranging for facilities, equipment, and refreshments
- Prepare & distribute notices, agendas, information packets, and minutes.
- Reviews data for completeness of information
- Archiving safety documents into the document management system in preparation for site demobilization.
- Maintain site safety records, including Incident Register, JHA Register, Risk Register, Corrective Action Register, Workplace Inspections, Induction Records, Procedures, Plans and Instructions
- A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
- Assists in special events, such as safety awards/incentive activities and BBQ’s etc.
- Any other duties as assigned by the HSE Manager / Deputy HSE Manager
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires 2-4 years of related experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Professional skill set to deliver administrative outputs
- Intermediate level of written and verbal communication
- Professional telephone and personnel interactions/practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of excellent filing systems and common office procedures
- Attributes that openly display HSE as a personal value
- Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines, targets and objectives
- Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a fast-paced environment
- General Construction Safety Induction (White Card)
