Technical Essential:

  • MSc in Economics/Finance or MBA combine with a relevant Engineering qualification and experience. Exceptional relevant experience could be considered equivalent to a MSc/MBA.
  • Knowledge of chemical, mineral or advanced manufacturing value chains.
  • Ability to create business plans for investment opportunities.
  • Intelligent strategic user of economic statistics.
  • Accounting and strategic business skills sufficient to produce input output table for GVA at a company level and/or to understand input and sales prices.
  • Ability to produce financial models that aggregate a cluster of industrial companies with input cost/incentives and outcomes in jobs or GVA. 
  • Understanding of Business Expansion or Investment Plans for Industrial Investment Decisions
  • Understanding of commercial terms, company profitability and cash flow. 


Behavioral Essential:

  • Able to project manage complex analytical tasks within a large company or government organization.
  • Excellent communicator written and oral.
  • Ability to provide strong, active leadership to adopt and enforce a consistent approach that nurtures a culture of creativity, innovation and empowerment.

Technical Preferred:

  • All university qualifications by subject in QS rankings top 300 globally. RC college graduate will be considered.
  • Experience directly in the chemical and/or mineral value chains (or similar industrial value chain).


Behavioral Preferred:

  • Multi-tasking coordination skill while executing complex and challenging project/program execution proposals.
  • Able to work in a culturally diverse environment.


Detailed Job Description:

Assigned to client - RC Industrial Investment Department

Job Duties:

  • Drafting personally (or jointly with a consultant/specialist) business development, business plans for specific project and/or business strategies the strategic vision and objectives, as concerning chemical or minerals value chains and other related services and ensuring successful implementation of corporate strategy.
  • Implementation of strategy and business development, business plans in compliance with policies, objectives, procedures and achieving goals and supporting in their evolutionary development as needed.
  • Oversees the implementation of business plans/strategies as well as financial models that aggregate industry and show strategic inputs and outputs (industrial models).

Operational Tasks:

  • Develops detailed business plans and strategic approach to facilitate the development of various chemical or mineral value chain clusters across the cities such that RC Cities attractiveness gets enhanced.
  • Conducts business development studies to use them as a basis for future cluster economic planning.
  • Identifies best business plans and strategies to support/increase attractiveness along with revenue enhancement.
  • Coordinate with Business Development to identify the organization target list and investment promotion objectives.
  • Provides the needed specialist insight during the implementation of new business plans, policies, procedures and transition/migration plans while ensuring they are consistent with the overall goals and objectives of RC.
  • Undertakes or assists in special projects as needed and other related duties as assigned or directed.
