Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and forward thinking Supply Chain Strategist to design, optimize, and govern end to end supply chain strategies that support business growth, cost competitiveness, and operational resilience. This role partners closely with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, engineering, and finance to translate business objectives into actionable supply chain strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong strategic insight, data driven decision making, and hands on experience across sourcing, demand planning, inventory optimization, and supplier management.

This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership. #LI-RG1

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute short  and long term supply chain strategies that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Analyze supply chain performance data to identify risks, constraints, cost reduction opportunities, and efficiency improvements
  • Lead strategic sourcing, make/buy, network optimization, and supplier footprint analyses
  • Support procurement and logistics strategies, including capacity assurance, and risk mitigation
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to track supply chain performance, resilience, and total cost of ownership
  • Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses for demand variability, lead time changes, and market disruptions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier collaboration
  • Support executive level presentations with data backed recommendations and strategic insights 
  • Adopt the use of AI and other digital tools that facilitate real-time monitoring and decision-making.  
  • Implement best practices in supply chain management, such as Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.  
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and mitigate risks. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13  years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience in supply chain strategy, procurement, operations, or logistics
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive strategic decisions
  • Proven ability to develop and implement enterprise‑level supply chain strategies
  • Experience working cross‑functionally in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Proficiency with supply chain analytics tools and advanced Excel or data visualization platforms
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in using AI to streamline work processes
  • Experience supporting EPC, capital projects, manufacturing, or large‑scale infrastructure programs
  • Familiarity with global sourcing, logistics networks, and risk management frameworks
  • Experience with scenario modeling, network design, or digital supply chain tools
