Job Summary:
In this role, you will provide professional Financial & Accounting support services. You will review contracts, perform audits, and review statements. You will assist with monthly reviews, data validation, GM reporting, special studies, presentations, and preparations. Your efforts will help ensure Financial & Accounting compliance and contribute to issue resolution and process improvements.

Major Responsibilities:
- Provides and coordinates professional services.
- Reviews the contracts commercial language and assists with set up working with the compliance and tax teams.
- Works with transactional groups (e.g., Accounts Payable and Receivables and Client billings) to identify common problems across projects that may be candidates for work process improvements.
- Performs audit queries (internal and external) and may participate in special projects.
- Prepares and reviews Variable Interest Entity and small entity financial statements.
- Assists with special studies, business and financial related issues, presentations, and preparations.
- Assist with monthly reviews, validation of financial data and GM reporting.
- Provides financial support, oversight, and management to GBU projects.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of organizational structure, policies and procedures.
- Ability to analyze financial data, provide early recognition of potential problems and provide effective and innovative thought processes in handling complex financial issues/problems.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial issues including an understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, practices, and techniques.
- Experience and proficiency in basic accounting functions such as payroll, payables, receivables, billing and financial accounting. Skill in analyzing and problem-solving techniques as applied to accounting.
- Excellent skills in working and communicating effectively both orally and in writing with internal and external personnel.
- Very proficient in computer applications and common software products. Able to develop complex spreadsheets with complex formulas, macros and ad hoc report writing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing MI 311 and development of earnings plans.
- Heavy experience with external, internal and client audits of projects.
- Experience reviewing and providing feedback on prime contract commercial terms.
