Job Summary:
In this role, you will support report preparation, forecasts, equipment inventory requirements, and keeping supervisors informed on progress. You will assist with monitoring work quality, equipment requests, entering inspection data and repair orders, and reviewing, validating, and storing data. Your work will contribute to ensuring tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assists superintendents with the supply for equipment requirements.
- Monitors the quality of work performed and ensure the team meets requirements.
- Analyzes workforce, material, and equipment requirements, and assists in coordination of the area discipline work plan requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent.
- Supports the implementation of policies, procedures and related work rules as established by field construction management.
- Assists in the preparation of reports, forecasts and inventory requirements for equipment, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities. Ensures all documentation is complete.
- Ensures Zero Accident Philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
- Monitors and ensures that the quality of work performed meets requirements.
Equipment Administrator
- On large projects, enters repair work orders into Project Equipment Management Systems (PEMS) as required, hour meter readings as well as entering additional data from incoming / outgoing inspections. Reviews and validates data in Project Equipment Management Systems (PEMS)
- Scans and stores all necessary information in the data base.
- Generates utilization and other reports for site equipment team.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires a minimum of 6+ years of related experience
- Associate degree or related technical training preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- What are the most important knowledge and skills (includes technical skills) that are needed UPON ENTRY to do the job successfully?
- What 3 to 5 KEY factors (ex. prior experience) should be used to determine qualification for the position?
