Job Summary:
The Workforce Services Global Operations Manager is a key leadership position accountable for the administration and oversight of functional operations across the organization.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated leader who understands the business goals, industry craft professional practices and stakeholder expectations as they relate to the functional operations of our craft professional workforce. The role will involve working across all regions and business lines globally.

Major Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities for the Workforce Services Global Operations Manager - Construction Craft Professionals include the following:
- Plans, designs, and implements programs to further Bechtel’s strategic business objectives as they relate to the attraction and retention of construction craft professionals in all core regions globally. Activities include, but are not limited to, (e.g. attraction, recruitment, onboarding, engagement, training, and development, diversity and inclusion etc.).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to build high performing teams who can effectively drive change through implementation of Craft Professional Strategies.
- Ability to identify risks and build effective programs to mitigate labor related risks throughout the organization.
- Prepare and deliver training and communications materials to Construction and workforce Services team members so they can effectively implement GWS processes on their projects.
- Develop and implement measures, metrics, and accountabilities to track operational effectiveness, reporting results on a regular basis.
- Develop presentations for Bechtel meetings, local and state conferences, and other events as requested.
- Work with partner organizations in providing thought leadership, policies/advocacy, and products/services for the Construction profession, GBU’s and project teams.
- Partner with the leaders across Bechtel’s offices in other regions, to provide the necessary solutions and mitigations for construction craft professionals.

Has a high degree of ethical conduct, and a working style to foster trust, respect, collaboration and engagement with others both across the business and externally. The ability to switch between the operational and strategic levels of management seamlessly.
- This role will be accountable for all GWS Operations inclusive of the following:

- Craft Professional Systems (SAP/EC, BrassRing, Comms Applications, Grayscale), Global Policy and Compliance, Employee Relations (Investigations, compliance, reporting), GWS Professional Training, Craft Employee Annual Engagement Survey, Global annual audits, Functional project proposal and estimate guidelines and GWS project start-up checklist.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- 10 years' or more progressive experience in Construction HR/LR/IR management
- Project and / or construction experience essential.
- Excellent research, analytical, writing, and quantitative skills.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office suite and Internet navigation.
- Must be adept at building working relationships in order to facilitate work and be a proactive team player who has demonstrated success in taking initiative to accomplish tasks.
- Breadth and depth of experience in leading large-scale change within complex and diverse organization cultures.
- Exceptional interpersonal (communications, conflict management, negotiation) and facilitation skills for working with diverse populations and management styles.
- Strong leader with collaborative style working well with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to motivate, lead and inspire small and large audiences.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to work independently on complex projects with minimal supervision. Ability to plan projects, develop milestones and meet specific deadlines.
- Experience working in and effectively leading cross functional teams.
- Demonstrated success in creating and executing strategies that create deep cultural change.
- Excellent leadership, people management, collaboration, and influencing skills. Business travel required.
