Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead a team to align quality culture and programs with business strategy to improve project performance. You will manage Quality Management System certification and assessment, oversee the review and evaluation of project quality and execution plans, and initiate actions to correct quality deficiencies or non-compliance. Your leadership will elevate organizational competencies and drive quality culture, standards, core programs, and processes. #LI-AA1

 

This position will be based in Houston.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to and implements policies, standards, core programs and procedures for the Quality function for use across the Energy GBU​.
  • Participates in cross-GBU Quality and EPC Functional Quality organization to support enterprise-wide endeavors.
  • Drives quality culture, programs, and continuous improvement to align with business strategy and improve project execution​.
  • Develops and maintains Job Architecture for the Quality function​.
  • Leads the Quality Management System certification and represents the projects/GBU during audits conducted by client, management, or regulatory agencies​.
  • Manages the auditing and assessments to verify the effectiveness of the quality system/program/plan​.
  • Provides oversight/review/evaluation of projects at project request and manages the schedule for quality oversight reviews​.
  • Leads staffing planning for the Quality function including strategic hires and assignments for Quality positions within the GBU (including overseas transition planning)​.
  • Coordinates, schedules and communicates project or GBU Management Review requirements with functions to ensure management review goals and objectives are met.
  • Performs personnel evaluations, compensation planning, and performance improvement plans for assigned personnel

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 15+ years of relevant experience or 19+ years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to drive quality culture across projects within the GBU in collaboration with Corporate Quality function
  • Skilled in developing budgets and staffing plans to support proposals and projects to ensure that the quality deliverables are in accordance with the scope​.
  • Possesses both oral and written communication skills for interfacing with clients, as well as presenting to and leading quality discussions with GBU leadership
