Project Overview:
Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located at State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake.
Job Summary:
In this role, you will establish, administer, and implement the suite of startup applications, automation tools, workflows, data transfers, and templates according to the project automation plan. You will configure reporting according to requirements, ensure accuracy, and analyze feedback and trends. You will make recommendations for improvements and ensure reports are functioning as intended.
Major Responsibilities:
- Establishes and administers the suite of Startup applications on the project, includes, but is not limited to SmartCompletions, Q4Safety, Preservation and Maintenance Module and Measuring and Test Equipment
- Implements the startup automation tools in accordance with the project automation plan, designing/developing workflows, forms, and templates for automation tools
- Coordinates with design engineering, procurement, project controls, construction, and other departments to establish automated data transfer between applications
- Understands reporting requirements for each application and configures reports accordingly
- Ensures reports are accurate reflections of the data and are functioning as intended
- Collates performance curves, metrics, trackers, and user feedback to show trends, and use in improvements
- Recommends adjustments in coordination with the Project Startup Manager, Project Field Engineer, and Site Manager
- Reviews output data and prepares startup reports with direction from PSM, PFE and SM
- Provides training and technical support of the suite of Startup Automation applications, to field engineering, startup, supervision, administration, project controls and other site personnel
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Database proficiency – Database programming(PL/SQL for Oracle and T-SQL for sql server),queries, stored procedures, administration (security, linked servers, etc), schema design.
- Microsoft Power platform(power bi, power apps, flow) – Design and implementation of apps, flows, and reports as necessary.
- General understanding of Bechtel Engineering and Construction software suite. Sources of commodity data and the flow between applications.
