Project Overview:

In this role, you will support the BEO fleet team as the future and disposal asset coordinator.  You will perform audits, on all specification sheets for assets, review and update the classification and category code lists, oversee the RPO (rental purchase option) and buyback program, oversee the special vehicle fleet programs, perform duties as the disposal coordinator, track lessons learned for fleet operations, and forecast fleet replacement timelines.  Your advice and guidance will help solve challenges to assist BEO in managing its fleet of assets. 

Job Summary:

Work with the BEO fleet team, BEO project controls, BEO PEMS department, BEO service department, BEO operations department and the BEO procurement team to manage BEO’s fleet of assets.  Improve fleet utilization process and procedures, develop and improve the classification and category system for all assets, build and manage the RPO offerings from all vendors, track and coordinate all fleet disposal processes, and build and monitor the fleet replacement forecasting model. #LI-BH1

Major Responsibilities:

Planning:

  • Annual review with Manufactures and vendors on all specification documents to ensure BEO has updated specification sheets for all class and categories of equipment to support the procurement team.
  • Coordinate with BEO fleet team and projects equipment managers to ensure asset purchases are in line with BEO core fleet process and procedures. 
  • Plan reviews with BEO procurement, manufacturers and vendors to provide overwatch on all RPO and buyback programs.
  • Develop and audit the BEO core fleet program.
  • Assist procurement in key special vehicle fleet programs (GM, FORD, Polaris) to ensure BEO receives all rebates and special offerings.
  • Monthly reviews with BEO fleet team on disposal process and procedures.  Coordinate with BEO internal and external disposal options and programs.
  • Monthly review with BEO internal departments, vendors and manufacturers concerning forecasting of fleet replacements.
  • Travel to meetings, conferences, and job sites to represent BEO’s fleet department.

 

Safety and Quality 

  • Monitors and ensures that the quality of work performed meets requirements. 
  • Implements and enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by BEO management. 
  • Ensures Zero Accident Philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and in safe operational order. 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires high school diploma  (or international equivalent) and 3-5  years of relevant experience or 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • AEMP, EMS or CEM certification. 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of Bechtel’s SWPP program. 
  • Knowledge of Bechtel Equipment Operations PEMS system.
  • Knowledge of Bechtel’s DSCS program.
  • Knowledge of Bechtel’s Aconex system.
  • Knowledge of Bechtel’s power BI systems.
  • Ability to write requisitions.
  • Ability to write reports for upper management.
  • Ability to review and audit current policy and procedures and write corrective action reports.
  • Knowledge of holding training sessions both remote and in-person.
  • Knowledge of Forms plus systems.
  • Knowledge of rental contracts.
  • Knowledge of equipment class or category codes.
  • Knowledge of Office windows, excel, word, power point, teams.
