Bechtel’s Information Systems & Technology organization is seeking senior platform engineer responsible for Enterprise wide Patch Management, Software Distribution & Deployment, Software Compliance Management, Software & Hardware Inventory Management, Reporting Services, Enterprise wide windows Client Desktop/Laptop Imaging & Application Packaging.

Evaluation, architecture and design of new technologies to support owned processes and maintenance current products in use like System Center Configuration Manager are part of team`s technology portfolio. The candidate will also be required to work closely with other members of the team in creating strategic direction on automating manual processes in current product deployments.


Willing to work on flexible shifts, working hours will be 11:30am to 08:00pm IST. Shift timings are subject to change are as per job requirement.


Basic Qualifications

·       Recognized degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university, or specialized courses in networking, information technology, server administration and infrastructure operations, or equivalent work experience in a related field.

·       8+ years of in software distribution & deployment, Windows Server Administration and Windows Client Operating System support in large-scale enterprise.


·       5+ years of experience leading a team of technical specialist’s providing specialized technical assistance, leading technical innovation and resource planning.

Job Responsibilities:

Person will be own following global processes and responsibilities. All mentioned functions are solely owned by the team in New Delhi.

•          Ownership of Monthly Patch Deployment Process, Patch Compliance and Reporting.


•          Ownership of security tool deployment, update, compliance, monitoring and reporting of the same.

•          Ownership of SCCM infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, monitoring and support.

•          Ownership of enterprise task sequences of SCCM OSD that provision standard gold windows 10  images, software and hardware standards.

•          Ownership of Application Packaging processes, developing and maintaining quality, timeliness and standards of software packaging.

•          Tier 3 support for all Windows client operating system related troubleshooting.

•          Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as motivate the group to   deliver technical excellence and quality of service.

•          Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies, present proof of concepts

•          Time management skills with a focus on quality service and deliverables 

•          Ability to comprehend and effectively translate customer requirements into technical solutions

•          Ability to create documentation and process diagrams for support personnel
