Position Summary:

Bechtel’s Information Systems & Technology organization is seeking strong delivery focused technical expert in Microsoft modern desktop management. operating system design customization and automation. This position will work directly with Platform Technology group to modernize Patch Management, Software Distribution & Deployment, Software Compliance Management, Software & Hardware Inventory Management, Reporting Services, Enterprise-wide windows Client Desktop/Laptop Imaging & mobile device management. 
Willing to work on flexible shifts, to meet business objectives. Shift timings are subject to change as per job requirement.

Basic Qualifications

• Recognized degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university, or specialized courses in networking, information technology, server administration and infrastructure operations, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in design, installation, and maintenance of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) in a large-scale enterprise.
• 5+ years’ experience of modern device management and Cloud based technologies such as Microsoft Autopilot, Cloud Management Gateway, and MECM Co-Management

Position Skills:

• Experience in maintaining and enhancing the MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) environment to support modern desktop management co-management with Intune.
• Strong mobile device management skills with Intune
• Experience with Autopilot in both could only and hybrid environment
• Strong knowledge of client and server maintenance troubleshooting and reporting
• Strong Desktop Engineering background with Windows 10/11 migration experience.
• Strong knowledge of the end-to-end process of OSD and be capable of configuring OSD in a dynamic manner that can create flexibility in the deployment process.
• Strong automation skills with scripting languages like PowerShell, VBS etc.
• Experience in C#, .Net to support infrastructure automations.
• Experience managing device collections, packages, applications, drivers, task sequences and images
• Experience with Enterprise Patch Management deployment and reporting.
• Experience working to automate desktop deployments, reduce deployment time and standardize images
• Understanding of Azure Active Directory and modern authentication
• Broad understanding of the technology stack including security, network and server infrastructure & protocols and associated application technologies including database, web and analytics elements
• Experience managing infrastructure in a mid-large sized company or multi-location company, preferred

Position Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with the platform team to architect solutions using modern management tools like MECM and Intune
• Build, deploy and support Autopilot as the default device provisioning and imaging solution for the enterprise
• Automate work processes using advanced scripting techniques including orchestration tools like ansible and terraform
• Create modern desktop solutions like WVD and Windows 365
• Provide support to the desktop operating environment, software delivery and patch deployment
