Role Overview

The Senior Coach / Learning Delivery Specialist is responsible for the planning and delivery of learning solutions, utilization of performance development and feedback tools as well as providing coaching for leaders to meet business and HR objectives within their assigned region.  Will include coordination with talent management colleagues across the region & country to effectively meet customer requirements and implement Learning and Development (L&D) and Talent programs.


Job Duties

  • Facilitate leadership workshops and learning solutions and Identify and support suitable technologies and/or delivery modalities to meet business and talent development needs
  • Develop and apply practices, processes and procedures to ensure high quality instruction while optimizing learner engagement
  • Advance preparation for workshops and learning sessions to ensure required materials and resources are available on-site and entry of course completion records to Learning Management System (LMS) post workshop/session 
  • Create an engaging learning climate and employ a variety of facilitation tools and techniques, including a discovery learning approach, to increase participation and ensure delivery of learning objectives 
  • Use behavioral assessments and other diagnostics tools, including 360 and upward feedback to observe behaviors, provide feedback for leaders and assist in the development of action plans to increase capability
  • Deliver one-to-one coaching for leaders and individuals within a talent pipeline to promote achieving desired outcomes from action plan and in support of professional goals.
  • Provide assistance to the talent management team for other talent management initiatives and processes to promote learning, understanding and completion of activities as required


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources related discipline with a minimum of 5 years related experience with demonstrated increasing responsibility over time OR 8 years of overall experience in lieu of Degree                                                                 
  • Demonstrated experience in delivery of training programs/learning solutions using facilitation and communication skills/techniques to diverse audiences
  • Previous coaching experience      


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience facilitating a variety of leadership courses for middle and senior management
  • Practitioner in at least 1 diagnostic tool (e.g. Hogan, Insights, MBTI, 360, EQ)
  •  External coaching accreditation for individuals and groups
  • Proficient in using HRMS Systems, tools and applications (e.g. SAP, TalentWorks, PD@Bechtel, and QlikView)
  • Working knowledge of matrix organizational structure
  • Professional HR certification
  • Ability to travel 10-15%
