Position Summary:

Summary: The Integration Lead role is responsible for the Design, Development and Operations of the system-to-system interfaces, Dataflows, APIs, and Integration Services. Based on the requirement finalize the Integration approach, which is cost effective, stable & scalable & run through the HLD with senior management, ensure compliance for the same by leading the team members and reviewing team deliverables. Also manage the 3rd party dependencies. Establish the CI\CD pipeline for incremental release of integration components to higher environment.


Data Integration Architect Job Responsibilities and Duties: -


  • Own development, testing and maintenance of integration between applications and systems
  • Define the integration roadmap for implementing integration between applications and systems in Bechtel
  • Establish integration request system for identifying integration requirements and determining best method for integration
  • Transition legacy integration systems to emerging systems and retire existing legacy systems
  • Lead the execution of integration while managing cross functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze, design and/or implement data design and best practices through technology solutions
  • Elevate results achieved by data integration team by serving as its chief method of support, planning solution presentations, addressed
  • questions, improving processes and serving as a mentor
  • Examine sources of data through user interviews and data object analysis
    • Build strategies for data integration process by developing data definitions, developing a standard system for team members to use,
  • looking for areas with optimization potential, and integrating the most effective tools
  • Deliver data integration through the implementation of shared databases, modification and optimization of current systems, managing the

exchange and storing of data, and making recommendations when upgrades or changes are needed to maintain smooth operation

  • Improve the data integration process by assessing new formats for data interchange, updating team expectations and procedures as

needed, and improving physical design

  • Optimize integration performance by resolving data conflicts and keeping data definitions up to date
  • Updates knowledge of best practices for integration team by keeping track of new technologies and strategies for ETL, participate in

workshops and other educational opportunities, widening personal networks and reading industry publications

  • Leading the selection of specialist integration technology required, and being the prime technical contact person for any vendors or

support partners

  • Creating and managing a best-in-class, complete and managed external-facing API layer to be used for business-partner integration, to
  • support external thick- clients (e.g. mobile apps for use by customers) and by third-party applications and services
  • Collaborating with the support-teams to around production incidents involving integration to ensure directly or indirectly their timely

resolution and recovery and preventative measures are taken to avoid recurrence.

  • Developing a strong team, skills and culture around integration that crosses the development, support, infrastructure, and data teams
  • Any other tasks as reasonably required.


Data Integration Lead Skills and Qualifications: -


  • Strong experience of atleast 13 years on integration technologies
  • Extensively used Azure resources like – Data Factory, App Service, Logic App, WAG/WAF, APIM.
  • Good understanding of Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, VMs, Event Grid, Event Hub.
  • Implementation exposure of Service Principle, Managed Identity, SSO, AAD/AAD-B2C.
  • Proven experience in and opinions on good and bad approaches to systems integration, software development, message-based

middleware and SOA, APIs, API management, data modelling, legacy integration techniques including DB staging tables and stored


  • Hands on experience of developing microservices using NodeJs,
  • Must have coding background, ability to understand the code flow of Oracle-SOA
  • Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server and MongoDB databases
  • Working knowledge of SQL and related programming languages
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Basic consulting skills
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Ability to analyze and recommend adjustments for company requirements
  • Knowledge of data conversion techniques
  • Defining the systems integration needed to deliver solutions for moving secure data between
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies such as Scrum and XP, but also with more traditional structured approaches
  • Expertise with distributed development and major version control systems such as Git, automated testing and modern development
  • approaches such as TDD and BDD
  • Team Player, able to provide input into a multifunctional team
  • Self-motivated, capable of working with limited supervision, pro-actively reporting on status and tasks
  • Adaptable - The role requires a willingness to take on tasks outside of a narrowly defined role, and ideally a desire to be multi-skilled
  • Capable of working to both tactical and strategic timescales.
