Key Objective

The Integration Developer role is responsible for the development and operations of the systems-to-system interfaces, dataflows, APIs, and integration middleware. The Integration Developer will use tools identified in the Technical Design to develop appropriate integration solutions. The Developer will follow company guidelines for programming and documentation.

Integration Developer Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop coding, testing and maintenance of integration between applications and systems
  • Leverage integration tools to build, maintain, and implement integration solutions
  • Ensure high quality and optimum performance of data integration systems in order to meet business solutions.
  • Transition legacy integration systems to emerging systems and retire existing legacy systems
  • Analyze, design and/or implement data design and best practices through technology solutions
  • Examine sources of data through user interviews and data object analysis
  • Upload data into appropriate databases in accurate and timely manner.
  • Leverage and enforce the Business Glossary/RDM as the principle means for interface attribute naming conventions
  • Deliver data integration through the implementation of shared databases, modification and optimization of current systems, managing the exchange and storing of data
  • Optimize integration performance by resolving data conflicts and keeping data definitions up to date
  • Optimize data integration platform to provide optimal performance under increasing data volumes.

 

Integration Developer Skills and Qualifications

  • Between 5 and 9 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions on Azure Cloud Platform.
  • Working knowledge of integration tools such Microsoft Azure Data Factory
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases
  • Working knowledge with backend databases and queuing technologies, relational databases, SQL functions, queries.
  • Information analysis
  • Ability to effectively communicate
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Knowledge of data conversion techniques
  • Deep integration with GIT for version control and CI/CD Support.
  • Automate Azure Data Factory pipelines
  • Experience working in Agile environment is a plus
