Job Summary:
Located at the New Delhi office, Plans & coordinate all training related activities for the Supply Chain function across GBU’s.
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.
Job Dimensions:
A. Supervision Received
- Reports to and receives operational direction from the Corporate Procurement Operations Manager.
- Functionally reports to Manager of Procurement and Contracts India office.
B. Supervision Exercised
- Provides operational and functional guidance to assigned staff.
C. Contacts
- Maintains contact with Supply Chain Functional Managers to formalize inputs received from Training need Survey and functional training plan.
- Maintains contacts with employees of the assigned function to understand any specific individual training need.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist in development of onboarding tool for supply chain personnel across GBU’s
- Determines, with the assistance of Corporate and GBU Supply Chain functional Managers, yearly/monthly training and development plan to comply with management directives. Develop Division of responsibility (DOR) with Corporate, GBU’s and Projects
- Develop corporate training calendar and ensure it remains up-to-date and reaches the desired employees/participants.
- Creates onboarding & learning curricula in TalentWorks with support from technical team
- Collaborate with L&D to ensure content, material, and curricula
- Ensures all logistics/printing for training including training manuals, handouts, questionnaire, surveys, attendance, feedback, meals (if applicable).
- Implements approved and budgeted training and development programs, including on the job training as well as on-site and off-site courses and programs.
- Shares monthly training plan, updates, reports & budgets with Functional Manager. Maintains records for all training and development programs and manages employee wise records in TalentWorks Learning System within defined timelines. Develop metrics to report.
- Develop and track P/T specialists – nomination and progress.
- Keeps abreast of advances in relevant office automation technology, equipment, and software applications to advance training
- Identify and collaborate with non-supply chain groups for commercial discussions roundtable
- Vendor management and Invoice management; keeping the allocated budget versus expenditure updated.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university and/or work experience leading to a thorough understanding of the knowledge described above. 10+ years of industry experience including minimum 3 years in developing and implementing training and development programs for diverse teams.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Plans and conducts independent work requiring judgement in the application of learning and training techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and present effective oral and written reports.
- Skill in developing, implementing, and administering training programs.
- Skilled in assessing target audiences and presenting ideas in a clear, concise manner.
- Experience with training and learning management systems and user interface/content management preferably for Supply Chain Function.
