Job Summary:
Located at the Gurgaon office, DSCS E&PI Product Owner will work with other product owners of DSCS, and core team members and develop solutions to support business upgrades and Project requirements. Selected candidate will plan and oversee all stages of the bulk material handling system for DSCS including bug fixes, enhancements, testing, user training, development of learning materials and building support team.
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage Hexagon's Intergraph Smart® Materials Engineering & Procurement Interface (E&PI) as an integral part of Bechtel’s Oracle E-Business Suite centered Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS)
- Coordinate with US, India and global team members in respect of E&PI development, assist and deployment activities including:
- Training Project and Global Business Unit (GBU) Super Users
- Assisting Project setup and coordinating with Engineering Automation counterparts
- Working collaboration with Smart® Materials Reference Data (SRD) team
- Collaborate with DSCS Implementation Managers for the successful execution of GBU and Project deployment and configuration of E&PI
- Drive standardization of Engineering Acquisition applications, standards and investments across the corporation
- Assist E&PI as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) and product owner
- Ensure integrity of bulk material management on projects
- Monitor project usage of Smart® Materials software to identify and resolve issues early and ensure project is using software correctly and effectively
- Work with SRD administrator as needed to assist projects
- Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement in the issuance of bulk material requisitions and resolve issues as they may arise
- Coordinate with material management in the issuance of bills of material
- Coordinate with the GBU Engineering Chief workshops to ensure alignment of software solutions with both the engineering work process owners and automation teams
- Actively coordinate with other Product Owners within Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Systems Automation on both corporate and GBU initiatives
- Manage E&PI application integration standards and procedures in conjunction with both DSCS and EPC Systems Automation application owners
- Develop and implement plan to migrate from SPMat Classic to SPMat Web
- Develop and maintain the roadmap for E&PI within Bechtel; considering current, short and long-term views
- Be Bechtel’s representative to Hexagon for all requirements relating to E&PI
- Interface with the Digital Enterprise Program (DEP), as necessary, and represent Engineering's data and process requirements where required
- Champion E&PI application scope within Bechtel's Advance Work Packaging (AWP) processes and the automation requirements for successful deployment of AWP across the Enterprise
- Collaborate with GBU Material Acquisition SMEs to evaluate modern technologies for adoption and integration
- Responsible for the maintenance, preparation and publication of appropriate documentation, "train the trainer" materials and education of GBU's and Projects for E&PI
- Develop and deliver executive level presentation materials and status reports
- Think critically and maintain a "can do" attitude in a fast paced and highly varying environment
- Participate in testing new versions and upgrades of Smart® Materials software
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction, IT, Management, Systems or Computer Science
- 7 years relevant work experience
- Advanced knowledge of Hexagon's Smart® Materials Engineering & Procurement Interface (E&PI)
- Experience in project bulk material supply chain activities
- Basic knowledge of SQL, databases and data management
- Ability to comprehend, analyze and document work processes related to Engineering design and bulk material management
- Ability to identify cross functional and cross discipline problems and provide innovative solutions
- Ability to resolve complex technical issues related to bulk materials
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time and meet schedules
- Ability to write detailed procedures
- Leadership and soft skills to effectively work with the automation teams ensuring a smooth operation of relevant Bechtel applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English.
- Good understanding of EPC work process and cross-functional relationships.
- Know how to manage complex technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and regulators to facilitate appropriate technical outcomes.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with reading and writing SQL and an understanding of Oracle relational databases
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and/or Power BI
- Experience with data integration between Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Project Controls applications and databases
- Experience with creating Bill of Material hierarchies
- Good knowledge of budget and schedule requirements
- Good working knowledge of industry codes and standards
