Job Summary:

In this role, you as Construction Automation Data Analyst will provide automation support to project teams, will be assigned to the Construction Application Support Group (ASG). The team provides construction automation related support including application configuration, testing and deployment of applications, provides technical and work-process guidance to application developers supporting construction applications.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and SQL queries, PowerShell scripts, troubleshooting and resolution the issues on application window servers and databases.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations (using tools like Power BI, SSRS or Excel). Summarize findings in a clear, accessible format for stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to understand data needs, streamline and automate data collection processes and support projects.
  • Perform data quality analysis at various stages of data exchange to ensure data integrity and no loss of info.
  • Support the integration of new tools or systems for enhanced data analysis.
  • Role will also include devising innovative approaches to problems encountered to provide solutions to the customer.
  • Develop and automate data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency and data quality.
  • Manage user roles and data access permissions.
  • Coordinates and prepares meetings, workshops, and presentations as required​.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ computer science with less than 1 year of experience in Data analysis and reporting/ Application Support or equivalent IT / EPC function.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced skills in spreadsheet tools like Microsoft Excel are essential for data cleaning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, naturally curious and strong desire to solve problems.
  • Experience of creating PowerShell and SQL advance level queries in Oracle/SQL database servers.

 Preferred Skills (Nice to have):

  • EPC work experience.
  • Hands on experience with any data exchange tools
  • Implement data governance at each step while carrying out data exchange work.
  • General understanding of the information lifecycle of project data – how information is exchanged between functions/disciplines and ownership of data transitions throughout the life of a project.
