Job Duties:

The Compensation Analyst, Asia Pacific will be a part of Human Resources People Operations, a global shared service. This role will be responsible for providing operational support in a regional compensation team through data analysis and execution of compensation programs under the guidance of the Total Rewards Manager, Asia Pacific, located in Brisbane, Australia.

Detailed responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Partnering with the regional Talent Acquisition teams / business partners / hiring managers to review / recommend salaries for offers as needed
  • Participating in regional compensation benchmarking surveys, completing survey submissions, analysing the survey data and supporting the Total Rewards Manager in decision making
  • Analysing the existing salary schedules, reviewing market data and providing recommendations for revision in Salary Schedules
  • Supporting the annual total compensation planning program under the direction of the Total Rewards Manager
  • Preparing compensation documents for country immigration compliance requirements
  • Analysing employee data & information and maintaining working files according to required confidentiality / privacy standards and best practices

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors’ in Human Resources or related field with a minimum of 1-3 years of related HR experience with demonstrated increasing responsibility over time OR 7 years of overall related experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience in working with international teams

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Previous compensation experience in activities like conducting benchmarking / market surveys, performing salary analysis, supporting annual total compensation planning for an organization / project / function.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and prior experience working with HRIS systems, specifically SAP and SuccessFactors
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Power BI etc.) 
  • Data analytics skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with remotely located supervisor
  • Possess service mindset and ability to build strong relationships
  • Ability to work in a high-volume transaction environment
  • Proactive, flexible, and adaptive to changing priorities
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
