Job Summary:

The SAP Technology position would reside in the Corporate Systems Development & Maintenance Group and would be responsible for developing solutions to HR and Payroll system requirements.

Major Responsibilities:

• Specific responsibilities include:

  • Code program bug fixes and enhancements in SAP R/3 HR / Payroll using ABAP programming
  • Maintain and support SAP and BTP Workflow
  • Maintain and support Web Dynpro and BTP Forms
  • Unit test code fixes and enhancements to ensure quality of delivered code
  • Develop, maintain and support SAP Cloud Platform Integration
  • Ensure existing code complies with complex business rules
  • Recommend cost-effective & creative technical solutions (including programmatic, configuration and non system)
  • Research interface problems, including de-bugging and fixing using development standards
  • Develop and Manage APIs (Web Services)
  • Monitor and prioritize development work status via JIRA (Change Management tool)
  • Analyze and diagnose applications problems, recommend system solutions and implement technology solutions.
  • Develop technical specifications in accordance with IS&T standards and procedures.
  • Provide second level operations end user support
  • Position will require shift early morning timing 

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Technology Degree - Preferred (Science/Engineering/Information and Technology) with 7+ years of SAP technical experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Software Application programming language (ABAP Objects)
• SAP Process Integration Platform
• Knowledge of SAP Data Dictionary (Data modeling Tool)
• Understands and has utilized the concepts of defining tables using a relationtional database
• Knowledge and experience with software support, development, maintenance and/or computer operations
• Familiar with Software Quality Assurance (SQA) principles and the Software Development Life Cycle
• Knowledge and understanding of concepts related to integration technologies such as  SOAP, XML, JSON, REST etc.
• Be able to work well in a distributed and cross-functional team environment
• Assertive in learning new technologies 
• Skilled in oral and written communication
