Job Summary:
Participates in planning, developing, and implementing solutions, to meet requirements of Projects and Global Business Units (GBUs). Has working knowledge of all modules of Digital Supply Chain System (DSCS) and supports users across modules. Conducts learning sessions, webinars for users and DSCS specialist as required. Performs gap analysis and works on solutions. Leads Project Management Cycles (PMCs) from planning, execution, through production deployment and validation
Major Responsibilities:
- Implement DSCS for projects either at home office or at site offices
- Support both DSCS and BPS users on their requirements
- Responsible for bringing new and junior team members up to speed from Procurement Automation perspective through learning sessions
- Participate in the formulation of new work proposals for DSCS, including the provision of detailed written scenarios, software demonstrations and oral presentations.
- Interact regularly with GBU specialists to understand any gap in work processes and work towards bridging them
- Work with technical developers and DBAs, as and when required for product development/enhancement
- Conduct PMC sessions from planning through production deployment and verification
- Conduct Training of Trainer (TOT) sessions for DSCS modules
- Support GBUs and projects on their specialized reporting requirements
- Work with technical developers and DBAs to provide resolutions for tickets raised by users
- Reports to Procurement Systems Supervisor in India office
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 1-5 years of experience
- Procurement System Automation. Minimum 2 years supporting DSCS
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL
- Experience of relational database management systems (RDBMS)
- Experience with advanced trouble shooting techniques
- Experience of having supported projects for automation
- Understanding of the integration between the Procurement and AP work processes
- Working knowledge of tools like SSRS
- Working knowledge of Construction site Material Management tools such as Team works
- Working knowledge of Engineering/Construction industry supply chain practices and Bechtel policies, procedures, and work processes.
- Experience with Jira systems, HPQC, MS SharePoint, MS Teams and Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong planning, prioritization and organization skills.
- A customer-service-oriented individual with a demonstrated professional demeanor and communication style.
