Job Summary:

The Deployed Project Support group delivers global support for recruitment and timekeeping applications like SAP, Etrack, and BrassRing used on Bechtel projects. The primary purpose of the position is to be part of the DPS team and contribute in providing configuration and development support for the above applications.

Successful candidates should have a solid work ethic, be self-driven and be able to work with minimum supervision and would require working closely with IT team and stakeholders to understand data needs, analyze issues and provide appropriate solution .

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assists the support team utilizing basic knowledge of applications, system-level software, user security and general computing applications  
  • Executes and monitors scheduled system processes  
  • Maintains and updates technical documents and procedures  
  • Assists the support team in resolving technical issues  
  • May deliver training to teams within the business  
  • Assists in managing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for the organization's systems  

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Year of experience – 2 to 3 Years.
  • Knowledge or experience in  SAP R/3 version ECC 6.0 or higher.
  • SAP EC and ECP Knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience/ working knowledge of databases, primarily oracle/SQL 
  • Experience / Working knowledge of IBM Brassring.
  • Familiarity with standard development toolkits including source repositories (TFS), Visual Studio

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • 2-3 SAP payroll configuration experience in SAP version ECC 6.0 or higher
  • Knowledge of HCM Module including HR / Payroll / Benefits data flow processes.
  • Develop CATT scripts / LSMW to assist in data conversions and mass data loads for users
  • Develop queries using Adhoc query tool set in SAP 
  • Assist in development of test cases and coordinate enhancements/changes through testing. 
  • Knowledge in controlled development, testing, and production environments 
  • Knowledge of software development Lifecyle 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Quick learner so that can be trained into a SME who can Provide Tier 1 & 2 production support for existing systems, troubleshoot data and/or system issues and also Develop, conduct, and support training of users at projects in SAP ECC system and other applications
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging and quantitative skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as the position would require working closely with IT team and stakeholders to understand data needs, analyze issues and provide appropriate solution. 
  • Solid work ethic, self-driven with the ability to work with minimal supervision
