Job Summary:
In this role, you will be a key member of the Global Retirement Plans Group. This role is responsible for administrative functions supporting Bechtel’s multiple retirement benefit programs, ensuring consistency with plan documents and retirement structure. The role includes executing project-based work throughout the year, including various internal data audits. This role reports into the Retirement Plans Manager.#LI-HB1 #LI-Hybrid
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.
Major Responsibilities:
- Monitor and determine eligibility, including reconciliation of previous employment data, for enrollment into U.S., Non-Qualified and International Assignee benefit plans.
- Process bi-weekly contribution file for U.S. benefit plan and associated wire for funding.
- Prepare and submit contribution file for International Assignee benefit plan.
- Review and approve distributions for International Assignee benefit plan.
- Collaborate with HR functions, Payroll, Accounting, vendors and third-party administrators to ensure SAP and census data accuracy.
- Conduct annual audit of wage types in SAP and quarterly participant wage review for Non-Qualified plans.
- Serve as primary point of contact for escalated employee matters with external service providers and support internal HR Service Center in resolution to employees.
- Support other retirement plan administration duties as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Detail oriented and strong data analytics skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, work independently and a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge of HRIS systems and SAP.
- Possesses a service mindset and ability to build strong relationships.
- Initiative taking, flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- QKA or QKC designations a plus.
