Overview:

The Payroll Compensation Analyst is primarily responsible for organizing, analyzing, balancing, and auditing various components of International Assignee compensation and associated home and host-country tax compliance filings. This position will also be responsible for aiding projects and offices globally on matters that relate to payroll compensation at the direction of the responsible manager. #LI-HB1 #LI-Hybrid

This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • The position will assist in the preparation and monitoring of various global payroll compensation activity reports and other reports as required.
  • Maintain records of prospective information.
  • Work closely with other team members to coordinate assignments to meet tight deadlines.
  • Assist in the development of data information and materials for the breakdown of compensation for the payroll department.
  • Perform special assignments of an analytical or information-gathering nature.
  • Perform special reconciliation of data gathered from country government tax and withholding statements to system-generated data
  • Extract confidential data from various sources and perform preliminary analysis utilizing accounting principles in response to information requests.
  • Understand and analyze corporate initiatives and recommend solutions and implementation processes.
  • Prepare applicable documentation (analysis, decision papers, etc.) as needed to support requested policy and/or regulatory changes.
  • Audit international business travelers for foreign tax compliance.
  • Effectively interface with various departments as needed to ensure accurate information is obtainable.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience or in lieu of a degree 7 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform research, analysis, and reconciliation of data.
  • Knowledge of basic payroll theory and functional payroll concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP Payrolls particularly Expatriate payrolls.
  • Intermediate skills in the areas of oral and written communications, analytical thinking and systems skills, project financial process controls and MS product skills (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook)
