Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for administrative functions in support of the Service and Retirement Award program. You will assist Senior Benefits Analysts in administering the company’s global benefits program. Your work will support Bechtel’s commitment to employee satisfaction and well-being.

This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership. #LI-KL1

Major Responsibilities:

  • Research career history and accomplishments for global retiree population, drafting customized retirement letters by collecting input from retirees' supervisors and managers, and providing final drafts to SVPs and CEO for signature and distribution.
  • Prepare quarterly budget updates for Service & Retirement Award Program by analyzing vendor invoices and employee eligibility. 
  • Process vendor invoices for service and retirement awards.
  • Conduct regular audits of vendor communications.
  • Oversee Tuition Reimbursement program, acting as POC for questions regarding the process, as well as processing all tuition reimbursement requests in accordance with federal and company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with vendor of service and retirement awards.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Specialized experience developed through a combination of job-related training and considerable creative writing and editing skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Possess service mindset and ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Proactive, flexible, and adaptive to changing priorities.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
