Job Summary:
Reports directly to the General Ledger Supervisor and interfaces with counterparts in other service locations, project offices, and controller management.Responsible for daily accurate recording of cash transactions and reconciling to bank balances. Transactions include funding of bank accounts, foreign exchange, and investments

Major Responsibilities:
- Maintaining assigned accounts to include:
a) reconciling and analyzing accounts
b) initiates and completes corrective actions to ensure that outstanding items in account reconciliations are cleared promptly
c) actively communicates with other departments and follows up on corrective actions. - Prepares and submits required financial reporting adjustments to supervisor and Operations Reporting, as necessary.
- Actively participates in the month end process and ensures that processes are completed based on established procedures.
- Coordinates with audit team to ensure that financial information required supporting both internal and local statutory requirements are obtained and provided in a timely manner.
- Perform special assignment or analysis from time to time as needed and requested by supervisors and managers.
- Perform quarterly and yearly analysis on specific balance sheet accounts for reporting.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related field and at 3 -5 years of accounting experience
- Must have legal right to work in US without sponsorship
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and applicable accounting methods
- Must be dependable, punctual, conscientious, and function well in a team environment
- Be flexible and adaptable and have the ability to maintain professional attitude
- Be 'self-starter' capable of working independently, taking initiative identifying and resolving issues, managing workload, and timely replying to correspondence
- Possess good organization skills, ability to provide constant attention to detail, and have ability to apply quality control over a heavy volume work with tight deadlines
- Mintain confidentiality of all information entrusted to the position
- Basic knowledge of document imaging software, procurement systems, financial reporting, Oracle Financials
- Basic skills in the areas of oral and written communications, project financial process controls, MS Office suite of applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), accounts payable, general ledger and billing
