Position Overview:

This requisition is an Expression of Interest (EOI) posting used to identify qualified candidates for Project Controls opportunities supporting Bechtel projects and organizations across Global Business Units (GBUs).

This posting is not tied to a specific position, project, location, or level. Candidates may be considered for a range of Project Controls roles spanning Support, Professional, and Management career tracks, as project and organizational needs evolve.

Submitting interest through this posting allows candidates to be considered proactively for current or future Project Controls opportunities. Final role alignment will be based on experience, qualifications, and business need.

Job Summary:

Project Controls professionals support and lead the planning, scheduling, cost management, forecasting, reporting, and risk management activities that enable successful project execution. Depending on assignment and level, individuals may contribute as individual contributors, technical specialists, or people leaders supporting project, regional, or enterprise-level Project Controls functions. Responsibilities, scope, and level of accountability vary based on career track, grade level, and project complexity.

Major Responsibilities:

Depending on assignment and level of responsibility, Project Controls professionals may perform some or all of the following:

• Support or lead cost estimating, cost control, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring activities
• Develop, maintain, analyze, and integrate project schedules across disciplines and functions
• Monitor and report schedule and cost performance, trends, and impacts to project and functional leadership
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance, and Project Management to align scope, cost, and schedule execution
• Support or lead development of recovery plans, impact analyses, and corrective actions
• Prepare and deliver Project Controls reports, dashboards, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders
• Support or lead Project Execution Risk Management (PERM) activities, including risk identification, analysis, workshops, and reporting
• Maintain and oversee project controls systems, data integrity, and compliance with standards and procedures
• For senior or management roles, lead Project Controls strategy, establish standards and governance, supervise teams, and support portfolio- or enterprise-level planning and performance outcomes

Education and Experience Requirements:

We welcome interest from candidates with a range of professional backgrounds and experience levels, including but not limited to:

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience
• Experience supporting or leading Project Controls functions such as cost control, estimating, planning, scheduling, forecasting, or risk management
• Experience may range from early career through senior leadership levels
• Advanced experience, leadership responsibility, or specialized expertise may be required for certain roles

Candidates will be considered across multiple levels of experience, and role alignment will be determined as specific opportunities become available.

• Project Controls roles may be office‑ or project‑based depending on assignment
• Some assignments may require the ability to work in active project environments
• Candidates must have the right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship, where applicable to assignment
