Position Overview:

This requisition is an Expression of Interest (EOI) posting used to identify qualified candidates for Non‑Field (Office‑ or Project‑Based) Engineering opportunities across Bechtel projects and business units. This posting is not tied to a specific role, discipline, project, or level. Candidates may be considered for a range of design, analysis, and technical engineering roles as project and organizational needs evolve.

Job Summary:

In non‑field engineering roles, professionals support the planning, design, analysis, coordination, and technical delivery of complex projects across Bechtel’s global portfolio. Assignments may involve design development, engineering analysis, interdisciplinary coordination, and technical problem solving in support of project execution. Specific responsibilities will vary based on discipline, project, and experience level.

Major Responsibilities:

Depending on discipline, assignment, and level, Non‑Field Engineering professionals may perform some or all of the following:

• Perform engineering analysis, design, and technical evaluations
• Develop, review, and coordinate engineering deliverables, calculations, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project management, construction, and procurement teams
• Support resolution of technical issues, constructability considerations, and risk evaluations
• Participate in design reviews, technical studies, and compliance activities
• Provide technical guidance or mentorship appropriate to role level
• For senior or management roles, lead discipline scope, provide technical oversight, manage resources, and support engineering strategy and governance

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting engineering design, analysis, or technical delivery on industrial, infrastructure, energy, or large capital projects is beneficial
• Candidates will be considered across multiple experience levels

Additional Infomation

• Engineering roles may be office‑ or project‑based depending on assignment, with either full-time onsite or part-time telework options
• Some assignments may require the ability to work in active project environments
• Candidates must have the right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship, where applicable to assignment
