Project Overview:

The Escondida New Truck Shop (ENTS) Project involves construction of a modern truck shop, located northeast of the existing facility, with 24 bays measuring 24m x 24m, plus eight bays for auxiliary equipment measuring 18m x 24m. The new shop is located outside the mine’s facilities and near the mine road that deposits ore into the sulfide stockpile. The scope also includes construction of a new warehouse adjacent to the shop.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will deploy computing hardware and provide deskside support to end users, supporting MS Office, e-mail, and collaboration platforms. You will develop reports, dashboards, automate workflows, maintain IT asset inventory, and assist with plans for proposals, studies, and projects. Your support will enhance technological efficiency, contributing to project success and client satisfaction. 

Major Responsibilities:

• Implementing and supporting IT hardware deployments, network infrastructure systems and provides Deskside Support to end users
• Deploying and supporting Unified Communication end points
• Installing and supporting GBU standard applications
• Supporting MS Office/e-mail/ collaboration platforms
• Working closely with corporate GIO to follow hardware deployment standards and follows and adheres to Corporate, GBU and Project IT procedures, standards, and security requirements
• Developing moderately complex IT reports, dashboards and automates workflows
• Maintaining IT asset inventory
• Suggesting point solutions to functional automation issues
• As directed, contributing to IS&T and automation/IM Planning for proposals, studies, and projects
• Participating in requirements reviews with functions and other business stakeholders
• Reviewing and understanding the EPC and GBU portfolio processes
• Implementing and supporting IT hardware deployments and network infrastructure systems following and adhering to Corporate, GBU and Project IT procedures, standards, and security requirements
• Providing metrics for IS&T governance compliance
• Providing input to technical scopes of work for contractors

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge in administration and configuration of networking equipment Cisco and Fortinet. 
• Specialist Office 365 platforms
• Experience as an IT Project supporting EPC, PMC or EPCM Projects 
• Professional with an understanding of area of specialization resolves a wide range of issues
