Project Overview 

 

This is a stand-alone HR position for an aviation project in Dublin, Ireland. This role would suit a local HR Administrator looking for the next step in their career. Bechtel will be working in an integrated team with our client to support the delivery of a Capital Investment Plan of circa €2bn within an operating airport environment. 

 

The ideal candidate would be a team player with solid HR Administration experience as a Generalist capable of adaptation to an integrated team environment. Collaborative and flexible to meet all the demands of the client. 

 

Role Overview

  • Co-ordinates project staffing activities in partnership with the appropriate People Operations teams to ensure the project team is fully resourced in accordance with the staffing plan by;
  1. Ensuring project Functional Leads are utilizing the staffing system SmartStaff to optimize the staff requisition and recruitment processes and ensure that all talent acquisition activity is maintained in SmartStaff
  2. Supporting Talent Acquisition activity between project hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team
  • Provide a comprehensive onboarding experience to new employees
  • Process security clearances for employee site access requirements
  • Ensure country and/or local registration requirements are enacted promptly
  • Lead a controlled offboarding and release process in alignment with the project staffing plan, including short term assignment tracking. This includes preparation of completion paperwork for project personnel in accordance with local statutory and company requirements, as applicable.
  • Work with the Project Management Team in coordination with People Operations to execute project talent management and total rewards deliverables
  • Support the Project Manager in employee engagement initiatives
  • Promote equality and inclusion in the workplace
  • Champion and model applicable health and safety behaviors by taking care of self and colleagues by following safe working procedures and promoting wellness
  • Protect the confidentiality and integrity of corporate information from unauthorized disclosure / modification / destruction and data collection / privacy of all workers on the project by taking appropriate measures.
  • Maintain necessary human resources records for any required electronic project employee files.
  • Coach and guide project assigned supervisors on basic employee relations and communication issues and work with the Region and Country HR Support team to ensure any communications and actions are executed
  • Coordination and regular communication with the HR Services Manager, the regional Infrastructure Business Partner, and the Region and Country HR teams is essential to support the rollout of any Company, GBU, or regional goals and requirements. 
  • Project requirements may change and performance of other duties as assigned is required.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology or related field
  • Experience in two or more Human Resources disciplines (Compensation, Operations, Recruitment, Training & Development, Project HR, etc.)
  • Relevant operational HR Administrator/HR Generalist experience
  • Knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resources administration within the Republic of Ireland

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development
  • Experience in project positions or project oversight roles

 

Gr 23 

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology or related field
  • Relevant operational HR Administrator/HR Generalist experience
  • Knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resources administration within the Republic of Ireland

 

Gr 24

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology or related field
  • Experience in two or more Human Resources disciplines (Compensation, Operations, Recruitment, Training & Development, Project HR, etc.)
  • Relevant operational HR Administrator/HR Generalist experience
  • Knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resources administration within the Republic of Ireland
