Project Overview:

Bechtel is building a team to deliver a major programme of heavy civil and rail works in the Dublin area. Our services include supporting our customers by providing integrated programme and construction management services to deliver on their objectives for safe, sustainable, on-time and on-budget delivery of world class infrastructure.

Job Summary:

In this position, you will work with the project team to lead a team to manage the entire set of planning activities for assigned projects. You will identify schedule trends, analyse data to provide innovative solutions to scheduling challenges, ensure schedule updates are completed on time, and be responsible for reporting requirements. Your leadership will be essential in driving scheduling efficiency and project success.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manages planning activities for the entirety of a project, including Level 1, 3, and 4 schedules
  • Identifies schedule trends for management attention
  • Analyses data to provide innovative solutions to scheduling challenges
  • Ensures schedule updates are completed in time to support project reporting requirements
  • Responsible for reporting schedule curves, narrative, contingency, corporate schedule metrics, and any other project specific reporting requirements
  • Supports project organizational and administrative activities

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Specialism in project control activities and a proven track record of handling such activities in major projects or projects of a similar scale / complexity.
  • Previous experience in a similar management role
