Project Overview:

Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead a team to develop, coordinate, and implement a facility operations training program. Your team will assist with program requirements, budget estimates, training manuals, and with maintaining a comprehensive records system. Your leadership will help ensure goals are attained, schedules are met, modifications are made as necessary, and reporting requirements are fulfilled. #LI-MJ1

Major Responsibilities:

• Commissioning experience and strong knowledge on Gas Turbine, Combine Cycle Power Plants (CCPP), and Aero LM/TM units.
• An engineering degree from an accredited university.
• Strong leadership skills with strong influence and power of persuasion.
• Identify and analyze technical problems, watch for defects and find solutions, ask for adequate technical support, report problems.
• Strong team player and motivator.
• Analyze data, develop metrics, and identify trends related to generator reliability. Contribute to generator maintenance and repair strategy.
• Provide training to critical facility engineers on generators and supporting equipment.
• Support cross-functional collaboration including all local and global partners, including EHS.
• Demonstrated high-level of self-leadership with diligence, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 12-17 years of relevant experience or 18-20 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrated mission critical commissioning experience required.
• 10+ years leadership experience in a power generation environment preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a wide variety of issues simultaneously

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills for coordination with engineering, operations, and client teams.
• Demonstrated Zero Incident ES&H commitment, ensuring strict compliance with safety standards during energization and startup.
• Experience with Commissioning Software (Smart Completions) and/or Digital Software.
• Strong analytical / organizational skills.
• Experience in commissioning or a technical consulting field such as facility design, engineering, construction management, or related area.
• Strong and effective communicator at all levels within the business.
• Strong background in project execution planning, risk analysis, and contract/subcontract negotiations.
• Identifies owner’s goals, needs, and expectations for building operation and function; identifies the commissioning responsibilities.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills with a focus on mentorship and accountability.
• Familiarity with Power Generators Loading and Load sharing.
• Ability to organize and staff CSU teams within a matrix organization and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Create and deploy a plan to drive greater value from key customers including potential for growth in portfolio-level Owner’s Engineers scopes or other repeatable/programmatic work.
