Job Summary:
The India Robotics Program – Construction Lead is a pivotal member of the robotics Programme team, tasked with bridging the gap between construction expertise and advanced automation solutions. This role is integral to the development and deployment of robotic automation across a spectrum of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring that construction best practices are embedded in every solution.
Major Responsibilities:
- Provide construction inputs of fabrication and installation methods of various commodities to India Robotics team members while performing design support assignments.
- Construction Expertise and Input: Actively provide construction-related insights, suggestions, and feedback to the robotics program team, ensuring that real-world installation challenges and industry standards are addressed in automation solutions.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share up-to-date construction knowledge and best practices for day-to-day installations, drawing from extensive field experience to inform the design and deployment of robotic systems.
- Application Focus: Proactively work on applications for megaprojects and construction industries, including but not limited to:
- Freeways and Airports
- Refineries and Mining Sites
- Chip Manufacturing Units and Datacenters
- Oil and Gas Plants
- Combined Cycle Power Projects
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, or 20 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience in large-scale EPC projects across diverse sectors.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, piping, electrical, civil, and control systems integration.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and translate construction challenges into actionable automation requirements.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and a passion for innovation in the construction domain.

- Ability to travel to domestic and international job sites, supplier shops, vendor fabrication units on short-term or long-term assignments
