Project Overview:
The rapid growth of AI and digitalization is fueling unprecedented demand for data centers that require large, reliable sources of energy. In response to this market trend, the Renewables & Clean Power (R&CP) team have signed an early works contract to build one of the largest gas fired power generation facilities in the U.S. This project is of significant scale and complexity, and our team is helping the customer progress early-stage development, that would lead to the start of full EPC delivery this year
Job Summary:
In this role, you will engage in supporting project requirements involved with the deployment of Digital Supply Chain, that will include defining and updating processes, standards, and governance models. You will participate in training, status tracking, troubleshooting, and reporting. You will participate in planning and supporting solutions by maintaining technologies and tools that support the work execution. #LI-VB1
This role mobilizes to the project site.
Major Responsibilities:
- Interfaces directly with users to address system / tool issues and escalates issues as necessary to the business unit DSC Implementation Manager or DSC Corporate team Provides consultation and expert advice and participates in planning, developing, and implementing solutions to meet the project job site supply chain automation requirements.
- Provides technical and administrative support, as well as implements, operates and assists business unit office and project users in utilizing the supply chain system application suite and associated systems.
- Participates in system administration including, but not limited to, project system set up and configuration, user training, systems data reporting and integration support of external data.
- Proactively monitors user operations and analyzes and resolves operational, workflow, and/or data problems.
- Provides advice to users on correct usage of applications and associated workflows and conducts training classes as requested.
- Participates with designated project implementation teams and personnel to determine and develop project automation requirements and objectives.
- This includes providing advice, guidance and recommendations. May participate in the formulation of new work proposals, including the provision of detailed written scenarios, software demonstrations and oral presentations.
- Configures Supply Chain Systems software components, performs testing and provides ongoing technical support.
- Supports business unit and project personnel in the use of Supply Chain Systems applications, including any requirements involving set up and training.
- Organizes, develops and performs classroom training, including input to the development of procedures and user desk instructions, including facilitating the maintenance and distribution of training materials and documentation related to Supply Chain Systems applications.
- Initiates requests for resolution of software application issues encountered during implementation and operations of Supply Chain Systems applications.
- Participates in business unit or project review bodies tasked with the establishment of standards and procedures for implementing Supply Chain applications.
- Communicates technical and detailed support requests to the Corporate Supply Chain Systems group, including analysis of process steps taken. Supports business unit and project specialized reporting requirements.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with relational database design.
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with Structured Query Language Advanced knowledge and experience of enterprise-wide data processing operations Advanced knowledge of standard office productivity tools, including Microsoft Word, Power BI, Excel and Access, and including simple table, query, report and macro design.
- Proficient in Data Analysis Advanced knowledge of and experience using reporting tools such as PowerBI, SSRS, Power Query etc. Advanced knowledge of standard office productivity tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, including simple table, query, report and design.
- Experience with typical and advanced troubleshooting techniques Experience with software installation procedures and networked infrastructure concepts Experience in analyzing project application requirements and implementation based on analysis Experience in giving practical and technical presentations to medium and large audiences Skilled in oral communication and experience in giving practical and technical presentations to medium and large audiences.
- Knowledge of and experience with Oracle E-Business Suite of Applications, Oracle Agile, Oracle Primavera Unifier, and Site Sense.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain processes, including knowledge of common Engineering, Project Controls, Finance and Construction work methods that depend upon Supply Chain System information. Experience with web-based computing environments including creation and maintenance of basic web services.
- Experience in major global, direct hire and contract management projects, which include engineering, procurement, and materials management activities.
