Project Overview:

Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead a team to develop, coordinate, and implement a facility operations training program. Your team will assist with program requirements, budget estimates, training manuals, and with maintaining a comprehensive records system. Your leadership will help ensure goals are attained, schedules are met, modifications are made as necessary, and reporting requirements are fulfilled.  

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead Zero Accident Plus (ZAP) program, ensuring process, personal, environmental, and health safety standards.
  • Drive Quality program (including non-CSU work) with target of zero punch lists.
  • Provide daily direction to seconded Client Operators.
  • Ensure project operations support (buildings, facilities, etc.).
  • Coordinate technical input and support from Air Products team, including commissioning and operations.
  • Manage performance testing and commissioning demonstrations, ensuring compliance with Prime contract.
  • Work with laboratory team on commissioning, initial operations, and testing.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance/operations support, including ICSS engineer interventions.
  • Champion SIMOPS program with oversight of Risk Assessments, JHAs, HAZIDs, Work Authorizations, and area isolation.
  • Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, and 3D model reviews.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide technical guidance, and support staff development.
  • Prepare commissioning procedures, documentation, and resource planning.
  • Assist in preparing operational manuals and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and implement training programs (on-the-job, on-site, off-site) with appropriate manuals and materials.
  • Oversee progressive training for designated personnel.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13  years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive work experience in Commissioning, startup and operations fields, specifically all aspects of field and control room operation, shift supervision, and development of operational philosophies and processes to ensure safe, and reliable Plant operations. 
  • Prior experience of Process Systems pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup of LNG systems/facilities. 
  • Prior Experience and knowledge of AP-C3MR Process 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. 

Additional skills:  

  • Prior experience with Bechtel CSU processes and procedures preferred. 
  • Knowledge of processes and work task involved with large scale gas processing facilities.  
  • Has planned and directed commissioning and startup/operations assignments. 
  • Experience working with Management, Client, Operations, Maintenance and Engineering personnel. 
  • Ability to make day-to-day decisions that directly affect project management improvements within assigned area or project and makes recommendations to senior management regarding policy and procedure. 
  • Knowledge & previous experience of testing, commissioning, start-up, operation & turnover practices.
