Project Overview:
The Project is a greenfield mining, process, material handling and ship loading project with a focus on sustaining production, minimise environmental impacts, strengthen long-term relationships with neighbouring communities and foster local economic development.
Job Summary:
Major Responsibilities:
- Implement project risk management tools, procedures, and frameworks across projects.
- Develop technical responses to proposals and consult with customer teams were necessary.
- Deliver project risk management programs aligned with ISO:31000
- Facilitate with an ability to maintain participant engagement for high level risk workshops, risk meetings and reviews.
- Establish a clear understanding internally and externally of risk context (project specific)
- Effectively interact across all layers of the project to influence risk culture.
- Other responsibilities as designated.
- Conduct workshop as this is required by the projects
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in projects ideally within construction or infrastructure.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in dedicated roles managing project risk management.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in Qualitative and a good understanding of Quantitative Risk Management is necessary.
- Experience responding to proposal requests advantageous.
- Experience with software packages is required, experience with ARM is advantageous.
- Relevant recognized Diploma, Degree, or Professional Certification
- Experience in the Infrastructure / Heavy Civil / Aviation / Rail/ Tunnelling/ Renewables / Mining / Construction is mandatory.
- Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required
