Project Overview:

The Project is a greenfield mining, process, material handling and ship loading project with a focus on sustaining production, minimise environmental impacts, strengthen long-term relationships with neighbouring communities and foster local economic development.

Job Summary:

Major Responsibilities:

• Implement project risk management tools, procedures, and frameworks across projects.
• Develop technical responses to proposals and consult with customer teams were necessary.
• Deliver project risk management programs aligned with ISO:31000
• Facilitate with an ability to maintain participant engagement for high level risk workshops, risk meetings and reviews.
• Establish a clear understanding internally and externally of risk context (project specific)
• Effectively interact across all layers of the project to influence risk culture.
• Other responsibilities as designated.
• Conduct workshop as this is required by the projects

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in projects ideally within construction or infrastructure.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in dedicated roles managing project risk management.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in Qualitative and a good understanding of Quantitative Risk Management is necessary.
• Experience responding to proposal requests advantageous.
• Experience with software packages is required, experience with ARM is advantageous.
• Relevant recognized Diploma, Degree, or Professional Certification
• Experience in the Infrastructure / Heavy Civil / Aviation / Rail/ Tunnelling/ Renewables / Mining / Construction is mandatory.
• Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required
