About the Role:

As the Project Controls Manager, based out of our Brisbane office, you will be responsible for all planning and scheduling tasks. We are seeking someone who has demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and providing innovative solutions to planning / scheduling problems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• coordination of cost estimating (by Bechtel Estimating team) and directing cost analysis and control activities
• direct schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, impact identification, and recovery plan development activities.
• directing the preparation and presentation of on-project estimates and cost forecasts.
• identifying, analysing, and providing innovative solutions to cost engineering and planning/scheduling problems.
• coordinating the preparation and presentation of on-project estimates, trends, change proposals, and directing the preparation of project cost forecasts.
• supporting the site Project Controls team in providing cost engineering/planning and scheduling guidance for the site-based team.
• visiting site on an adhoc basis to monitor and provide guidance to the site based team.

What You Bring:

• experience and demonstrated skill in directing project planning / scheduling activities across a broad range of civil, SMP, E&I work tasks together with interfaces with approvals, operations & maintenance and owners team interfaces
• proficiency in understanding PC operating systems and multi discipline specific software applications (Primavera P6, Microsoft applications and cost management).
• demonstrated ability to present Project Controls information to management/client
• demonstrated skill in identifying, analysing, and solving problems.
• advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes, as performed by Bechtel.
