Job Summary:

Our Supply Chain team is made up of experienced professionals in contracts, procurement, buying, expediting, supplier quality and logistics who collaborate to build a strong and efficient ecosystem.   • Have experience working cross-functionally with Project Controls, Engineering, Health, Safety and Environment, Sustainability, Quality, and Construction teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of end-to-end contract and procurement processes, including claims management.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.

Major Responsibilities:

Contract Formation

  • Prepare bidders’ lists and conduct pre-qualification of bidders.
  • Develop and issue bid request packages to approved bidders.
  • Coordinate and respond to bidder inquiries.
  • Receive and conduct commercial evaluations of bids.
  • Lead negotiations and finalise contract commitments.
  • Ensure contract conformance and execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Contract Management and Closeout

  • Implement the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule and adhere to Standard Work Process Procedures for contract management.
  • Manage assigned contracts, monitor progress, and provide updates on potential financial or technical issues.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on matters affecting contractual rights, subcontractor performance, and key project milestones.
  • Manage contract changes, including negotiation and settlement with client representatives.
  • Ensure clear communication and mutual understanding of contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports to management.
  • Ability to close out contracts in accordance with contract terms and conditions, internal processes and procedures and customer requirements.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or international equivalent)
  • Experience in contracting activities including prequalification, tender, award and close out of construction contracts and services contracts >$100M
  • Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • End-to-End Contract & Procurement Expertise
    Deep understanding of the full contract lifecycle—from formation to management and closeout —including claims handling and commercial evaluations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Proven experience working with teams such as Project Controls, Engineering, Heath Safety and Environment, Sustainability, Quality, and Construction to meet project objectives.

  • Leadership & Mentorship
    Ability to lead by example in areas like Health, Safety and Environment, client engagement, and financial accountability, while also mentoring junior team members.

  • Autonomy & Initiative
    Capable of working independently, challenging existing processes, and driving continuous improvement.

  • Communication & Negotiation Skills
    Strong skills in negotiating contracts, managing changes, and ensuring mutual understanding of terms and obligations.
