Bechtel is seeking Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil/Structural Interns for the Brisbane or Perth, Australia Office to support various ongoing projects. Bechtel’s internship program was created to cultivate real-life industry interest based on hands-on experience. Many new university graduate hires began their careers at Bechtel as a student intern.


Our M&M Internship Scheme is open to all undergraduates in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil/Structural disciplines. During this time you’ll see how our business works and take on tasks that will give you valuable experience – all while having a real impact on our organization. Interns work in multidisciplinary teams and you will have a dedicated supervisor who will be responsible for providing you with a full and busy workload while ensuring we provide you with the best experience possible during your time with us.


We accept applications from students who are currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree at an accredited university. Applicants must have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies in one of the fields and must be able to pass any pre-employment requirements such as a drug screen and background check.
