- New York City, NY Positions: A 5% salary uplift is provided on top of base salary for positions that are worked in New York City, which is subject to change depending on market conditions.

Job Summary:
The Training Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) training programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, workforce preparedness, and continuous improvement throughout project construction operations. This role requires the effective application of instructional methodologies to enhance knowledge and engagement within a diverse team. The position reports directly to the ESH Manager. #LI-AM3
Major Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement ES&H training programs aligned with project and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate training schedules and resources to meet project milestones.
- Represent the ESH training program in client and project leadership forums, providing riskbased insights on workforce readiness and training effectiveness.
- Establish and enforce training requirements for subcontractors and specialty trades, including onboarding, verification, and corrective actions for noncompliance.
- Ensure training programs address semiconductorspecific hazards, including hazardous chemicals, cleanroom interfaces, and simultaneous construction and owner activities.
- Advise project leadership on trainingrelated risks and tradeoffs, influencing planning and execution decisions under schedule pressure.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using performance metrics and feedback; update content as needed. Evaluate incident data to help improve training courses and materials
- Ensure Compliance with all applicable safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain Records of training completion and certifications for audit readiness.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify training needs and develop targeted solutions.
- Promote Safety Culture through proactive engagement and communication.
- Identify and promote innovative teaching and learning techniques.
- Support training of field and professional groups in Behavior-Based Safety concepts and process.
- Prepare learning, training, and marketing materials (e.g., brochures, media, and print materials).
- Respond to specialized training requests and aids employee development needs.
Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in occupational/safety disciplines, Environmental Science, Training, or related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in ESH training or relevant teaching experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Proven track record of effectively supervising three or more ESH trainers.
- Experience supporting semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or similar complex construction projects is preferred.
- Specialized training skills and knowledge applicable to ESH disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate training effectiveness and workforce readiness to senior leadership and client representatives.
- Proven ability to adapt training programs rapidly in response to changing scope, schedule pressure, and evolving project risk.
- Ability to develop engaging training materials and deliver sessions effectively.
- Computer skills for preparing presentations, data management, and report preparation.
- Adaptable to work in a training facility and outdoors in a field environment, support multiple shifts, and travel/ relocate as needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
Additional Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest, training, and experience in applied sciences and workplace training.
- Previous experience with ESH technical and administrative subjects.
- Broad technical knowledge, science skills, and technical writing and teaching abilities.
