Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead a team and direct field equipment operations, and develop equipment plans, cost estimates, and operating budgets for large domestic and international projects. You will direct strategic planning for optimal fleet utilization, schedules, cost studies, and training. Your input will support the implementation of safety plans, best practices, lessons learned, and process improvement.#LI-BH1
Major Responsibilities:
- Complete requisitions for maintenance, parts and equipment as needed
- On or off-site project support scheduling and forecasting as required
- Maintain construction equipment schedules for projects
- Monitor project's equipment plan/forecast/actuals
- Analyze, interpret and generate reports including but not limited to asset management control
- Participate in weekly equipment meetings and ad hoc coordination meetings
- Monitors the activities of proposed subconstractors or vendors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules
- Manage equipment date information adn transfers in the database
- Review and facilitate payment of invoices
- Provide support and guidance to assist project equipment management team as required
- Review and adhere to the execution plans and standard work processes
- Safety and quality
- Monitors and ensures that the quality of work performed meets requirements
- Implements and enforces plicies, procedures and related work rules as established by BEO managment
- Ensures Zero Accident Philosophy and requiremtns are implemented and adhered oto by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in sade condition and in safe operational order
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Good oral and written communication.
- Strong automation skills, ability to learn new applications quickly.
- Proficient in organizing tasks for completion by an agreed deadline.
- Knowledge of construction equipment, such as Earthmoving Equipment, Cranes, Heavy trucks, trailers, forklifts, generation equipment, rigging equipment, etc
- Knowledge of small tool and consumable program operations and management.
- Knowledge of material handling/warehousing processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of small tools, consumables, rigging and safety materials commonly utilized during construction
