Project Overview:

Bechtel is pursuing a significant new award of work in Egypt. The Project will cover the development of luxurious residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, tourism amenities, and economic zones. If successful, Bechtel’s contract for the delivery of this project will be for project management and construction management services.  This position is contingent upon project award, client approval and staffing plan changes. 

Job Summary:

The Accommodations Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of workforce accommodations, and logistics to support projects and operational needs for the project in Egypt. The role ensures compliance with local regulations, adherence to company standards, and delivery of efficient, cost-effective services that support employee welfare and project readiness.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage housing assignments, move-ins/outs, housing transfers and changes of units
  • Maintain accurate records of occupancy, entitlements, and facility conditions.
  • Liaise with accommodation providers and internal stakeholders regarding occupancy reports, room moves, VIP guests, lease renewals, special needs and act on any information given.
  • May support logistics planning and execution for regional project mobilization
  • Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reporting
  • Support onboarding and induction processes related to accommodation
  • Serve as a point of contact for emergency logistics
  • Manage and update the housing reports daily
  • Assist in the collection of information for weekly and monthly reports and dashboards

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience accommodation & logistical services

    G25- Bachelors Degree with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, or 9 to 12 years of relevant work experience.

    G26 – Bachelors Degree with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, or 12 to 14 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent command in English and Arabic and have professional customer service experience
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills required
  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management systems and advanced analytical ability to build and maintain spreadsheets and presentations.
