Job Summary:

The Application Specialist – BIM will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting automation solutions that enhance BIM productivity, quality, and consistency across engineering and construction projects. The role focuses on Revit and Navisworks automation using .NET programming, Dynamo, APIs, and data integrations, supporting model coordination, quality checks, reporting, and digital delivery objectives.

Major Responsibilities:

•  Develop and maintain BIM automation solutions using .NET (C# preferred) for Revit and Navisworks.
• Create Dynamo scripts for Revit to automate modeling, data management, validation, and documentation tasks.
• Develop and enhance Navisworks automation for model aggregation, clash processing, reporting, and coordination workflows using APIs and scripting where applicable.
• Leverage REST APIs and system integrations (where available) to enable data exchange, reporting, and digital workflows.
• Automate Revit model setup, parameter management, data validation, and standard compliance checks.
• Support Navisworks-based coordination, clash detection automation, issue tracking, and model analytics.
• Customize tools, plug-ins, and scripts to support project-specific BIM execution requirements.
• Support BIM data extraction, reporting, and dashboards for design progress, QA/QC, and coordination tracking.
• Implement automated checks to improve model quality, consistency, and compliance with BIM standards and BEP.
• Integrate BIM automation outputs with Common Data Environments (CDE) and digital delivery platforms as required.
•  Work closely with BIM Managers, Coordinators, and discipline teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Support project teams during design, coordination, and construction phases by resolving automation and BIM tool issues.
• Participate in automation testing, deployment, documentation, and user support.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer or related science from a four-year accredited college or university and 10+ years’ experience; or in lieu of degree, 14+ years of progressive experience in relevant industry

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Requires 8-10 years of experience implementing, administrating, and supporting Computer Aided 3D Design applications
• Requires 10+ years of experience with ACC/Revit implementing interfaces with peripheral applications
• Requires 8+ years of experience as technical lead.
• Good understanding of BIM standards, model data structures, and coordination workflows.
• Hands‑on experience developing automation using .NET (C#) and Dynamo for Revit/ACC.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Prior experience as administration lead on large scale projects required.
