  • Salary Range: $$76,008 - $91,212  annually (Determined by function, education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant. A 15% salary uplift is provided on top of base salary for positions that are worked in New York City or San Francisco, which is subject to change depending on market conditions.).

Job Summary:

In this role, you will provide project field engineering support with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and coordination of system turnover. Your work will contribute to ensuring field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements. 

Major Responsibilities:

Level 1

  • Assists in the preparation of construction drawings, sketches, projections and schedules for workforce, material, and equipment requirements
  • Assists in planning construction methods and procedures. 
  • Initiates requisitions for field purchases
  • Assists in preparation of quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment.
  • Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required. 
  • Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely. 
  • Proactively considers continuous learning or shows interest to pursue appropriate learning activities
  • Assists supporting construction engineers, discipline superintendents, foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents
  • System Turnover Coordinator 
  • Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development.
  • Builds system and area turnover packages both digitally and physically for turnover to startup and client.

Level 2

  • Coordinates the preparation of construction drawings, sketches, projections and schedules for workforce, material, and equipment requirements
  • Contributes in planning construction methods and procedures. 
  • Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Level 1

  • Required a University Hire with less than 1 year of experience or 4-5 years of relevant work experience –OR– Associate’s and 2-4 years of related experience​

Level 2

  • Typically a University Hire with 1-2 years of experience or 5-6 years of relevant work experience​

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • What are the most important knowledge and skills (includes technical skills) that are needed UPON ENTRY to do the job successfully?   
  • What 3 to 5 KEY factors (ex. prior experience) should be used to determine qualification for the position?
