General Job Duties:

This entry level position will allow you to perform assignments that will develop professional working knowledge and abilities through the application of applicable codes and standards, as well as engineering calculations and techniques, procedures and criteria. You will exercise limited, but increasing, judgment in performing your assigned duties using methods prescribed by your supervisor.

Control Systems Engineer

Your tasks will require performing control systems engineering activities, which include as a minimum the development of basic discipline system calculations and designs, such as vendor documentation review, conceptual studies, industrial control system network designs, cybersecurity related policies, and specifications for equiment where deviations from standard documentation is required. Works under the direction of more senior engineers/designers. Responsible to produce basic and higher-tier dawings and documentation in accordance with established conceptual design and scope. Properly interprets and applies codes and standards and customer design requirements for the preparation of control systems design documents, specifications, and system descriptions related to design tasks.

Basic Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in a four-year Bachelor of Science degree program in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Completed at least one year of undergraduate studies in one of the above fields.
- Must be willing to relocate to project or job site.
- Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Required Qualifications

- Skilled in oral and written communication
- Proficient in computer applications and operating systems
- Good automation, data entry, and report preparation skills
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD)
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point

- Preferred Cybersecurity Courses
- Prior engineering experience through part time work or previous internships
