About the Role:
The Senior Proposal Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the development of professionally written, customer-focused, persuasive proposals within a dynamic, deadline-driven business environment.
In this role you will:
- Develop and coordinate clear, compelling proposals that clearly articulate Bechtel’s value proposition, with the proven ability to translate specific technical information and jargon into approachable text that aligns with the customer’s requirements, terminology, and expectations.
- Lead, manage, and coordinate proposal development.
- Lead preparation of other marketing and qualification documents for Bechtel customers across diverse industry sectors and regions.
- Work with graphic designers in several time zones/regions to turn complex ideas and text into graphics.
What You Bring:
- Tertiary qualified in communications, writing, journalism or similar discipline.
- Proposal coordination and management experience on large, complex proposals.
- Proposal writing training and education (e.g., APMP certification) preferred.
- Ability to effectively lead and/or work/collaborate with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams of proposal personnel and train participants in required skills or procedures.
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills.
