Position Summary:

We are seeking talented and knowledgeable individuals to join our team as a PVCase Designer. As a PVCase Designer, you will play a key role in designing and optimizing photovoltaic (PV) Array Plans, Project proposal using the PVCase software. PVCase is a solution that streamlines the process of designing solar projects, from site assessment to system layout and electrical design. If you are a highly skilled PV case Specialist with a passion for renewable energy and a desire to contribute to the advancement of solar technology, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in PVCase to design, simulate, and optimize solar projects from initial concept design to construction and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate system layouts and electrical designs.
  • Analyze and evaluate site conditions, including terrain, shading, and environmental factors, to identify optimal locations for PV array modules for installation and maximize energy production.
  • Generate detailed BOM reports, drawings, and documentation using PVCase software.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, guidelines, and best practices related to PV system design.
  • Provide technical support and training to colleagues on the effective use of PVCase software.
  • Collaborate with software developers and contribute to the improvement and enhancement of PVCase functionalities based on user feedback and industry requirements.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

Basic Qualification:

  • Diploma in Electrical/Civil
  • Candidates with 12th Certificate and minimum 5 years of working experience can be considered.
  • Candidates with 10th Certificate and minimum 7 years of working experience can be considered.

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with PVCase software, including proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation and other relevant design tools (knowledge of PVsyst not mandatory but will be added
  • advantage).
  • Strong understanding of photovoltaic systems, including solar panels, inverters, AC & DC collection cable routing & installation.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to solar PV installations.
  • Proficiency in conducting site assessments, shading & Terrain analysis, and system optimization using PVCase.
  • In-depth knowledge of AC & DC collection systems including String / combiner, harness cable and DC homerun cables & AC collection trench design.
  • Ability to generate accurate and detailed BOM reports, drawings using PVCase software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PV system design.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering PV projects on time and within budget.
