Provides comments & recommendations for planning & scheduling requirements. Prepares staffing plans.
Reviews design scope criteria & quantities for completeness & reasonableness & coordinates with the project to develop additional estimating bases when information is incomplete. Establishes the conceptual scope of estimates & studies when definition is not available. Reviews or assists in reviewing proposal provisions related to schedule & material control & develops supporting data for contract negotiations.
Interfaces with designated Bechtel mngmnt & client counterparts for specific planning & scheduling tasks. Participates in developing & presenting training classes & on-the-job training for specific processes and practices.
Conducts personnel performance reviews. Interviews candidates. Supervises the collection, verification & integration of work scope for all entities into the total project plan. Reviews the representation
of project scope in schedules. Establishes the conceptual scope of schedule studies. Prepares and analyzes comparisons of scope, quantities & cost data between the projects. Performs productivity analysis of construction operations & verifies results. Establishes productivity basis to be utilized in estimates. Reviews labor estimates. Plans & supervises the effort to establish milestones for the total project or major portions of the project. Reviews project work activities to ensure the support of milestones. Coordinates the timely, systematic & complete acquisition of scope definition & related data. Provides supervision & assistance to planners in the development & integration of individual schedules into the total project plan. Reviews the performing organizations & units work logics.
Plans, coordinates & establishes the level of quantification appropriate to the objectives of the effort & to the level of scope definition for each discipline or specialty & designates reference jobs for source data and/or reconciliations of quantities.
Reviews completeness and reasonableness of quantities.
Supervises/directs, reviews & evaluates schedule durations for all disciplines and activities relative to the support of project milestones. Supervises/directs the calculation of durations & other considerations. Prepares & analyzes comparisons of scope, quantities & cost data between projects. Develops bid evaluation & schedule criteria & prepares bid evaluations. May participate in discussions with vendors.
Plans, organizes & supervises schedule resource loading & leveling. Coordinates development of all bulk commodity release & installation curves. Integrates appropriate staffing requirements for each discipline/specialty. Supervises/directs others in obtaining required schedule information by all disciplines. Supervises others in identifying schedule restraints & their effects on the total project schedule. Works with all depts. to ensure an understanding of the total project schedule needs. Responsible for total integration of schedule activities. Compiles, summarizes updates & maintains historical schedule data. Monitors & reports critical-path & schedule performance of the total project. Recommends alternatives for schedule improvement to project team for discussion and/or decision.

& discussion. Supervises/directs project schedule workforce & quantity reporting. Prepare & present planning & scheduling information to management and/or clients.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in performing, monitoring & reviewing planning & scheduling functions which includes schedule development, control & analysis in the field
Knowledge of supervision, personnel administration & training. Skilled in oral & written communication.
Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction & startup work processes as performed by Bechtel.
Knowledge of engineering & construction management.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review & present schedule products independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to use a high level of professional judgment and knowledge related to technical planning & scheduling skills & engineering design, construction & procurement practices.
Previous Project controls exp in construction scheduling.
